Thracians

OOOOOOOOO do I like these. Buggers to paint, but they look good! I really need to do more of these one day. Maybe field a 1000pt army? As it stands the cavalry do OK well better than the other types available, yes, yes I know I must do some basic Greek cavaly, I actually do have the castings........ The peltasts are yet to be used. The rhomphia is a nice surprise for opposing cavalry. I could field the above foot minis plus a few mates as a warband.
All ifs buts & maybes.

stick chuckers

I have a few of these due to a cock up in the purchasing dept. Thing is ideally I would like to be able to field two 2k armies one day for some in house hoplite action, so technically I do need them.

Seriously over painted when you consider how long they stay on the table. Claim to fame for these boys was taking out a Sassanid 'phant! Delayed the inevitable & for a moment we dared to dream of victory!

A few weeks later they got savaged by packs of dogs, not pretty. It's a hard life in the jav. corps.

Slingers

By Foundry. A couple of gems in the pack & one dog of a mini imho. Not even a slinger....oh well if I see another pack I like sometime I will add more.

Archers

Minis by Crus....sorry A & A Miniatures. Didn't like them at first, but they grew on me. Not hit anything with them to date......

Cretan archers

Foundry minis, not very exciting really. Not sure they are worth the points.....discuss?

Skiritoi

Did I spell that right?

Basically Spartan Hoplites used as tough hill tribesmen peltasts. Used to run with the cavalry as a sort of combined ops force. Ha not when I am in charge. Need to do a few more of these, but ran out of suitable castings, bum.

Peltasts

There are actually 32 of these. Two units of `16 to protect the flanks,
